It is a very designed app for learning the foundation of the Finnish language. 🇫🇮

Sometimes it just won’t record me, even for a simple word like “tuo”.

…besides being super helpful in learning Finnish, the plethora of voice sample choices are highly entertaining. Kudos to the programmers having some fun! 🤓

Thumbs up to everyone who helped make this incredible app. I’ve been wanting to learn Finish for soooo long and this really helped me a lot. Not only does this teach me words, it teaches me how to pronounce the accent and gives me a chance to learn more. The setup is fun and has several different levels and words! Totally forgot to mention that the voice pronouncing the words is far from a boring robot voice. The voice is actually like a human voice and is much more useful than the English to Finish translator. I can’t wait to show my new finish skills to my finish relatives! I also can’t wait to go to Finland and blow my parents minds when they see how much I learned when I talk to some people! Sincerely, Unknown

Nr1 to learn

It’s really high quality and well designed. Lots of fun learning tools as you dig around. I found it because Rosetta Stone doesn’t offer a Finnish program and the others seem to teach in the formal written form that is NOT used in daily spoken language.

Wish this had larger amount of options and word combinations. My genealogy is Finnish and I’ve not been able to find words or phrases.

This app has an easy to navigate menu with multiple ways to interact - listening, recording voice for comparison and playback, and list compilations for situations/“essential” words. I use it on iOS via iPad and phone and the interface is well-refined for both. I am also most fortunate in that I have a Finnish gf who helps me along. My wish is that the alphabet would be included to establish basic soundings and potential inflections. At present, there are many resources for this on the net; it would just be more convenient to include it here

It’s works alright but it’s quite boring. Also some phrases are wrong according to a native Finnish speaker.

This is the most engaging language app I have ever seen. I am from Finland but only speak it quarter fluently. At the rate you can learn with this app I will be fluent in under a year! Kippis to the developers! And Kitti.

my boyfriend is finish, so I wanted to learn. I started learning about a month ago, and at this rate, I will be fluent in just a couple more months! It’s so easy and effective. I researched a bunch of other finish learning options. I’m so glad I found this one.

This app has made learning Finnish for my girlfriend so much fun. She is really impressed with my progress through it.

This is really teaching!

I found out that I would be traveling to Finland soon, not a place I ever thought I would visit but seizing a great opportunity that came along. I downloaded six different programs and this has been the best by far. The great thing is that my Bluetooth vehicle with heads up display can play it and I can repeat along and see the words on my windshield! I have learned quite a bit in a few days and can hopefully communicate when I am on my trip with ease.

I had no previous knowledge of the Finnish language, and this app has given me a really great start. I would highly recommend this for beginners because it has a great hands-free feature, and the pronunciation is really clear.

When you look at this apps features, it gives you the impression that you can speak into it and it will judge your pronunciation, which it doesn’t at all. It merely lets you record your speaking so you can hear how you sound next to the apps voice...seems like a really pointless feature to me.. Also you barely get anything without paying for the full version.

This app is great for supplementing language lessons from elsewhere, or used alone to learn a few handy words and phrases before a trip. I'm using it to supplement an Italian course I'm taking, and to learn a little Finnish before I go to Helsinki next year.

After me and my families continuous search for a free place to learn Finnish, at last we found it! This program is great for all kinds of people! I had to learn Finnish a week before I went, and I learned soooooo much in that week using this! This program helps your subconscious learning and conscious learning, and can fit with any of your needs. Any kind of learner can use Nemo, whether busy or always free. You can listen to it as a "background" and quiz yourself, or speak aloud and compare what you said to how the computer said it. It is a great way to learn Finnish, and it is also free and relaxing.

The best one I've tried so far. I was looking for one that I only needed to listen and could use while exercising or just walking to the store. And I love that I can turn off my screen and it keeps going. The temperature option lets you adjust the words you want to review more often. Really great app!

First let me say, I've tried a few. This one has what others lack. I still use "Finnish in a ...(minute)?"app as it uses pictures. But what I really love about this app is that you can turn your screen off and it will read you words. It also has a very good translation from Finnish to English. When I speak to my Finnish friends I find myself being corrected less than when I was not using this app.

This app is amazing! I love the "temperature" idea for word strength! I've only had the app for a few days but I can now successfully say about 10 words from memory. So far, so good - highly recommendable.

This is, by far, the best app for learning Finnish phrases and vocab. I would have liked something more in the way of conjugating verbs and nouns; but it is still a completely worthwhile investment.
